Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using Dreamie (operated by Dreamie Press) you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use Dreamie. We may update these Terms and will note the "Last updated" date; material changes will be communicated.

2. Accounts & eligibility

You must be 18 or older to hold an account, and you're responsible for activity under it and for keeping your sign-in secure. Children use Dreamie only through, and under the supervision of, an adult account holder.

3. Acceptable use

Use Dreamie lawfully. Don't create or publish content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, or infringes others' rights; don't scrape or automate access, bypass paywalls, reverse-engineer the service, or use generated illustrations to train competing AI models. Published books pass a safety review; we may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Your content, rights & licensing

You keep whatever rights exist in the parts you personally author — your idea, the words you write, and your edits and arrangement. Note that under current U.S. Copyright Office guidance, purely AI-generated material (on its own) generally isn't protected by copyright, so some of what a book contains may not be owned by anyone — see our AI & content page.

When you create a book, you grant Dreamie the license it needs to run the service for you: to host, store, process, reproduce, and display your book, and to reproduce and print it to fulfill your own downloads and print orders. We may pass these rights to the providers that make this work (for example our hosting, payment, and print-on-demand partners) solely to provide the service. This license lasts while your book exists on Dreamie; if you delete a book, we stop using it and delete our copies, except (i) copies a buyer has already purchased or printed and (ii) routine backups that expire on a normal schedule.

When you choose to publish a book to our public catalog, you additionally grant Dreamie a worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, sell (as $1 downloads and print orders), and promote that book and sample pages from it, on and off Dreamie, for as long as it stays published. You can unpublish a book at any time, which ends this license going forward — though copies already sold or printed, and marketing already published, may remain. We may sublicense these rights to the service providers above, and transfer them to a successor if Dreamie is acquired; we will not otherwise sell your individual book to unrelated third parties.

How creators are compensated. Dreamie doesn't pay cash royalties or a revenue share on sales. Instead, creators of published books earn gift-card rewards (see §5) as a thank-you when their books reach paid-download milestones. Rewards are a discretionary appreciation program, not wages or a revenue share, and are your sole compensation in connection with Dreamie; we may change or end the program at any time. We state this plainly so there are no surprises.

You're responsible for ensuring your content — including any names, likenesses, or third-party material you add — doesn't infringe others' rights.

5. Creating & selling

Generating a book uses a Creator Pass (one Pass = one full auto-generation plus a limited number of image edits). Published books can be read online for free; readers pay a fixed $1.00 to download a book. As a thank-you, creators earn a gift-card reward each time their published books reach a milestone of paid downloads. Rewards are a discretionary appreciation program, not wages or a revenue share, and Dreamie may change or end it at any time. Gift-card rewards may be taxable income; you're responsible for any taxes owed, and we'll issue a tax form (e.g. a 1099) where required by law.

6. Payments & refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe; print orders are fulfilled by Lulu. Digital PDFs and Creator Passes are non-refundable once delivered or used; misprinted or damaged print orders are replaced or refunded — see our Refund Policy. Prices may change with notice.

7. Service "as is" & liability

Dreamie is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind; AI output quality varies and uptime isn't guaranteed — you use Dreamie at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dreamie Press isn't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or USD $100 if you haven't paid anything). You agree to indemnify Dreamie Press for claims arising from your content or your violation of these Terms.

8. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the law. Note: books that have already been purchased are retained for those buyers even if you delete the book.

9. Governing law & contact
