About Dreamie
A little studio for big imaginations.
What Dreamie is
Dreamie is a storybook studio and marketplace for making illustrated keepsake books to share with the children in your life. Start from a one-line idea and an AI-driven pipeline helps you craft, draft, and polish a story; then you illustrate it spread by spread and lay it out as a page-turning flipbook you can read on screen, download as a PDF, or print at home. Books that creators choose to publish appear in our catalog for anyone to read for free.
Why we made it
Every family has stories worth keeping. Making a beautifully illustrated picture book used to take an author, an illustrator, a designer, and months of work. Dreamie puts that whole studio in one place so a parent, grandparent, or teacher can go from idea to a finished, personal keepsake in an afternoon — and share it with the world if they want to.
How it's made
Stories and illustrations are generated with Google's Gemini models, guided at every step by the human who created the book — the idea, the direction, the edits, and the final say are all yours. We think of the person behind each book as its author; the AI is the tool, like a camera or a word processor. Read more about how we handle AI on our AI & content page.
Keeping it kind
Because these are books for children to enjoy, safety comes first. Every book submitted to the public catalog passes an automated kid-safety review before it can appear, and readers can report anything that slips through. Our Acceptable Use Policy spells out what does and doesn't belong here. Accounts are for adults, who supervise how children enjoy the stories.
The name
Dreamie is inspired by Isaac Asimov's short story “Dreaming Is a Private Thing,” where a dreamie is a vivid dream that special storytellers could record so anyone else could play it back and live the adventure too. That's the feeling we're after.
Who's behind it
Dreamie is published under the Dreamie Press imprint, operated by [LEGAL ENTITY]. We're a small, independent team. Say hello or ask us anything on our contact page.
