Getting started
What is Dreamie?+
Dreamie is a studio for making illustrated storybooks — keepsakes to share with the children in your life — with the help of AI. You bring an idea; an AI pipeline helps write and illustrate it; you edit, lay it out, and can read, download, print, or publish the finished book. Accounts are for adults (18+).
Do I need to be able to write or draw?+
No. The AI drafts the story and the illustrations from your direction — you steer, edit, and approve. The book is yours.
Is it safe for kids?+
Yes — the stories are made for children to enjoy, so safety comes first. Accounts are for adults, who create and supervise what children see. Every book published to the catalog passes an automated kid-safety review first, and readers can report anything inappropriate. See our Acceptable Use Policy.
Reading & buying
How much does it cost to read a book?+
Reading published books in the catalog is free. If you'd like your own copy to keep, a downloadable PDF is a flat $1.00. Print orders cost more (they cover printing and shipping).
What formats can I download?+
A print-ready PDF (single-page, double-page, or booklet layouts) and an eBook (EPUB) that opens in Apple Books and other readers.
What payment methods do you accept?+
Payments run through Stripe — credit and debit cards, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay where available. We never see or store your card details.
Can I get a refund?+
See our Refund Policy. In short: digital downloads are generally non-refundable once delivered, but we'll always make a misprinted or damaged print order right.
Making & selling
What's a Creator Pass?+
A Creator Pass is what it takes to generate one full book — the whole story written and illustrated, plus a limited number of image edits in the studio.
How do creators get rewarded?+
When you publish books and readers download them, you earn a gift-card reward each time your books reach a milestone of paid downloads — no bank account or payout setup needed. Rewards are a discretionary thank-you program, not wages or a revenue share, and may be taxable; see the Terms for details.
Whose name goes on the book?+
You choose the author byline (a pen name is fine). Books are published under the Dreamie Press imprint. We don't put an AI model's name on your book.
Who owns the book I make?+
You keep ownership of your story text and the illustrations generated for your book. Publishing to the catalog grants Dreamie a license to host and distribute it — see the Terms. Note that copyright law treats purely AI-generated material differently from human-authored work; our AI & content page explains what that means.
Account & data
How is my data handled?+
We collect only what we need to run the service and never sell your personal information. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
How do I delete my account?+
You can delete your account any time in Settings, or email us. Books already purchased by others are retained for those buyers.
